In Kolmanskop, a ghost town haunted by memories of times gone by, the relentless passage of time is plainly visible.

Once a bustling centre of diamond mining, the town now lies abandoned and forgotten. The once grand houses are slowly being swallowed by the ever-shifting sand of the Namib Desert.
